I've also been by this shop and had to wait outside. The owner missed the point in his response to that complaint. The policy is out of your control, but having polite, communicative employees isn't. Takes ten seconds to let people waiting know the situation or a time to come back. Lost my business as well.

When small businesses wonder why revenues are down or why they lose thousands of dollars in business I think they should be aware of experiences like today. Currently framin place only allows one customer in at a time due to covid restrictions which I completely understand (though they seem to be ok with multiple employees in the space and people making food and coffee deliveries going in and out). However, if you only allow one customer at a time you can’t then have an employee take half an hr with one customer (it was longer than that even) and keep all the other customers waiting. It’s completely unreasonable. And it says something about a business and whether you should continue doing business with them. After spending thousands of dollars here to get items framed, Framin Place lost today’s order and all future business. That’s probably a good 15k in a year on framing. I’m sure they’ll survive just fine and I’ll easily find another quality framer, but as a consumer you can only vote with your wallet. During this time two other customers walked up and left so you lost their business as well after they heard one customer was taking half an hr to finish and I was still waiting. I’d love to recommend these guys but unfortunately I’d say given the poor service these are folks to avoid. There’s a lot of other places who do quality work for framing.

We don’t. But we certainly can frame photos with perfectly acid free materials. All our framing is of museum quality, with the option of using totally anti-glare glass.
