Hello Jake. The slowness problem with the HP Pavilion is usually due to a defective spinning 7,200RPM Hard Disk Drive. We would clone your defective drive to a new 500GB Solid State Drive (Cost $90.00 for 500GB SSD) and labor would be $150.00 for the service, which includes a system tune-up. Our turnaround is 48-hours on our repairs. Please stop on by our store when you are ready for this upgrade.
Hello Edie. For starters I would recommend the Logitech S-120 USB 2-piece speakers for $20. If you wish to have Subwoofer and louder, then I would recommend the Logitech Z313 3-piece speaker and subwoofer set for $55.00.
