Worst post office I’ve ever been to. There’s so many other post offices. Don’t waste your time.

This is the absolute worst post office, staffed by people who don't give a ______ and are just looking at the clock, waiting to go home. Over the course of the past 15 years, I have had several packages which were both correctly addressed to me and with tracking information, just disappear. I get delivery confirmations that the item was left in my mailbox by usps. My apartment building has locking mailboxes and mine is not been broken into. I have both called and visited North College Park Post office in person and, although they are polite and claim they will get to the bottom of these missed deliveries and contact me, they never have. Not once. I am prompted to write this review because, just in the past WEEK, I have had three Amazon deliveries sent via USPS that showed delivery confirmation to my mailbox and none of the three have materialized. It is quite apparent that the mail carrier on my route is either not looking at the addresses on the package carefully and either a delivering to the same apartment number in one of the other buildings of my complex or just putting it in the wrong box in my building. Three times in a week? These people are smoking crack on the job. If you are ordering a product or anyone is shipping you anything, implore them to use UPS or FedEx or some other shipping service because North College Park Post office is a joke and cannot be counted on.

This location is below 1 start, I arrived to this location before 5pm and was in the lobby before they closed and the door was locked and I knocked on the door and saw the clerk behind the desk and they refused to come to the door. I stay and knock for over 4 minutes and even told the clerk that I was just here to drop off a package that was already paid for and did not need a receipt and all they had to do was except my package. The clerks inside did not answer me. With me being a business owner its very critical that packages get mailed on time and to have this type of customer service whether a person is at the final hour of their shift is just representation of poor customer service and I’ve had this happened to me a few times and seen it happened to other customers while waiting in line to wear they close and lock the doors before 5 PM at this location . I will no longer be returning to this location. The clerks are ghetto and have very poor customer service. I will go elsewhere.
