Started here for the food tour. It was a block up from the parking garage.

Great staff. Friendly, helpful and knowledgeable. Out we went with our map that the gentleman highlighted for us. We roamed the town and it's so beautiful. Shops and eateries everywhere. I wish I could remember the name of the restaurant, but it was fantastic right along with the staff... wonderful time there.

Questions & Answers

I am staying at the Hotel Annapolis in September and I would like to take the train into Washington DC for a day. Is there a train station close by my hotel? Do you recommend Amtrak or MARC? can you provide me details of how to book fare?

Unfortunately, there is no railroad station close to any Annapolis hotel. To get into Washington, DC, I would suggest renting a car or taking a cab or Uber to the New Carrollton Metro station (Metro is the Washington, DC subway system). It’s about a 20 mile drive to New Carrollton. Alternatively, the BWI Airport Amtrak station is about 20 miles away as well. There your can catch either a MARC or Amtrak train into Washington Union Station where you can access the Metro system to get around DC. Marc would be cheaper, but depending upon the day you’re traveling Amtrak may have more frequent service. Both services have great website to give you an idea of their schedules and fares.

How are handicap placards treated in Maryland?

If you're asking if you'll get ticketed or towed for parking in a handicapped parking spot without a handicapped plate or tag, yes. If you're asking if people park in handicapped spaces without a plate or tag, unfortunately there are inconsiderate jerks in every state so it does happen on occasion. If you're asking how to get a handicapped plate or tag in Maryland, that would be a question best asked of your local dmv and not a Google review site for Annapolis visitor center. If you're asking if Annapolis visitor center has handicapped parking, yes it does.
