Holiday Inn Express Lewiston, an IHG Hotel

I usually really enjoy Holiday Inn Express, but this one was a bit of a letdown. Cons: When I showed up, there was a line of about 15 people/groups waiting to get checked in, because the lady at the front desk was going VERY SLOW. Checking into a hotel is usually a very quick and convenient process, but she dragged it out as long as she possibly could. If the line is so long that it reaches outside the building, *please show a little bit of hustle.* I stood there for 30 minutes waiting to get checked in (no exaggeration). When I finally got to my room, the room was decent, but the bathroom was not clean; the floor was grimy and sticky, and the shower curtain was splattered with. . .something brownish. I was also very surprised when it started raining outside my room, and by that I mean, IN THE HALLWAY outside my room. Pros: The location is good, the pool is nice, and the custodian guy has great customer service skills. He's a credit to the establishment. Overall, I will probably stay at the Hampton next time.

We were greeting right away by the front desk staff who was very kind and helpful. They helped us pick a place to eat as we got into town late. In the morning we had a large variety of food and the eating area was very clean. I will definitely be staying here again.

Poor customer service at front desk. Room was not ready upon check in time. I understand being short staffed but the attitude and snapping at me from the front desk was unnecessary. Over priced for what was provided. Room had broken tiles around tub and previous customer hair in the tub.

Staff was really very nice, the room was clean and the views were AMAZING!!! Perfect place for pet owners and you can just walk down to a really good steakhouse and bar. This is my first time in Lewiston and plan to make future trips here at this hotel. Thanks for the great service front desk employees!!❤️
