Such a nice, peaceful State Park. The day use beach is so nice. It's a safe stretch of beach. In the campground there are huge trees for shade. So camping in the 100° temperature is actually bearable without electricity - tent camping at its finest. There are large green grassy areas to run and play games. The roads are perfect for riding bikes. There is also a paved bike/walking path throughout the park. There are also trails that you can go on. There were also bunnies, deer, and turkeys wandering thru the camp ground. There is a trail that borders the campground that horses use quite frequently and it's fun to watch them galloping by.

Nice park with good camping spots. A city park was close, with a good 8-hole disc golf course. Mature, shady trees hang over the camp sites, which are right next to the Snake River. Much needed, with the full sun and heat of summer! Firewood can be purchased at $5.00 per bundle, but it isn't a lot of wood. If you are camping for many days, and need a fire for cooking, you might want to pack your own wood. The Snake River is beautiful; lots of spots to drive up and down the river, to find beaches. If you have a boat, you can boat to more remote, private beaches with nice, fine sand. Overall, nice place to stay for a community park. If you want privacy and a quiet setting, this may not be the place for you. It is highly trafficked.

Stopped here traveling through. Very nice park right on Snake river. Campsites have a nice area, not all cramped in. Sites paved, stoned fire pit area.Is close to town, but you would not know it. You just here boats on the river. Would definitely stop again when in the area.$45 a night water and Ele.The only place I've ever been( been camping 60yrs) that planted lavender at their dump station. Nice touch!

Great place to get away. Clean bathrooms and shower. Beautiful park!

Since dogs are allowed on leash, they might be able to get in the water, but perhaps on a long leash. I doubt it's a problem if you stay away from the swimming beach.
Yes
Call the park boats are left overnight
Probably
You can see space availability on reserveamerica.com along with prices. They have sites w/& without power...recently stayed there 2 weekends ago
Depends ...if you live in Idaho cheaper..otherwise 2foot rv and 200foot rv are the same price.. full hookup is s little more than just water and elect.
Yes. People do wakeboard and even some surfing. But in 17 years of boating in this area I see plenty of kayakers on the river
I heard that they were having one.... Shrugs... Anyways.. Shall we meet. Lol
There is usually ice cube and blocks available in the small convenience store located at the marina, as well as a commercial fire logs. Inside the campground I believe there is usually a vendor for firewood. Although, zip trip is just a zip of a trip back down the road. Enjoy our wonderful park and remember; Pack it in, Pack it out!
Only if you plan on staying over night
Probably, how much wood does a wood Chuck chuck if a wood chuck chucks wood?
Best thing to do is call the park.
$24/night for full service sites with hookups. There is also a $5 Vehicle charge that is waived if you have the annual $10 Idaho State Parks Pass. It's a great park with lots of hiking/biking trails, bathrooms with showers, covered picnic areas, etc. Very clean, lovely park!
