I made an appointment with Kiley & Sons several weeks ago to have a couple of projects completed. First to supply and install an expansion tank on my hot water tank. Secondly, to install owner provided faucet at the kitchen sink. While making the appointment they were able to provide me a quote for the expansion tank for a cost of $270. We agreed that the kitchen faucet would be done under a time and material agreement and was provided with an hourly rate and was told it would probably take an hour or so. It sounded to me like they had done this before with other customers and a time and material agreement seemed fair to me. Shortly after my technician Chris showed up he asked me to sign an agreement for $270 for the tank and a second agreement for around $380 for the faucet install. I explained to him what my agreement was and if he couldn't do it for that then I didn't want him to install the faucet. While Chris was installing the tank I called Kiley and talked to a lady and explained in detail what the issue was. She confirmed that I had been told that the faucet would be done under a T&M agreement and she needed to check to see what had changed. She returned to the phone and told me that "management had a flat rate for installing faucets". While that didn't seem to be the case when I made my appointment, apparently it is now. So I confirmed with her once again that I had an agreement for T&M, but now I don't. IF a mistake was made at the time I made the appointment ( and I believe it was) then Kiley should have stood behind the original quote. In my opinion it was unprofessional not to do so. Chris did a nice job on the tank and was in and out in less than a half hour.Too bad he couldn't have finished the job as requested. UPDATE: Anthony Torri Plumbing installed my kitchen faucet for $105 and I couldn't be happier. I found a plumber I can trust.

I contacted Kiley & Sons Plumbing (now Frank Gay Residential Plumbing Services) for repair service today on a toilet in my master bath. Erin the scheduling office was professional snd helpful in arranging my service appointment. Jedediah Mannheim was the service technician who arrived on time and performed excellent service today. Jedediah took the time to analyze and then explain the repair needed. He answered my many questions, offered a family plan membership which would afford discounts and warranty coverage in the future, and gave me an estimate on a future job that I am contemplating for my home. At all times Jedediah was professional efficient and careful, cleaning up after he was finished. I would highly recommend Jedediah Manheim as a technician with Kiley & Sons (Frank Gay Residential Services) to provide service for plumbing in your home.

In June 2022, I went to showroom and was shown and given a brochure for a whole house water filtration system ($545). I was told about how a lot of the national companies are selling you stuff you don't need and how Kiley's didn't like to take advantage of their customers. I scheduled my service but they couldn't come out til mid July. When the plumber came in mid-July, all of the sudden what I had ordered wasn't going to work and my only option was a $4,000 system. I said I wasn't interested and he said he still had to charge me for coming out even though all I had ordered was a $545 system. I went back to the showroom and was told that Kiley's had been bought out and that Jim, the salesman who set me up for the original system was no longer allowed to give prices. I asked to speak to someone and they said the boss was "out fishing" this week. Apparently Kiley is no longer a local family business but is now owned by a large national corporation. They are shutting up the old employees who told the truth and insisting that their up priced, unneeded services are sold. What an awful development. It's bad enough to lose a family business but to have it replaced by a greedy and unethical corporation is a tragedy. STAY AWAY!!! THIS IS NO LONGER THE SAME COMPANY IT WAS. THEY WILL RIP YOU OFF.

We have used Kiley and Sons Plumbing in the past. This trip Tim came out to replace the drain baskets in a double stainless steel kitchen sink. Tim was very professional, thorough and cleaned up after the job was finished. He even showed us a small pinhole that was on one side of the sink which had nothing to do with his visit All in all we as before were very satisfied with the quality and care we recieved from Kiley and sons, their rates were reasonable and we recommend them highly.

Our new home has a tankless water heater. It takes a very long time to get hot water in the sinks and showers. Is there a way to get hot water faster?

If you have a septic tank problem. There is no room in the tank to drain so the draining dishwasher has an easier time overflowing your toilet than making it to the tank. If you are handy, most of the time you can get away with cleaning the filter in the tank. If that doesn't do the trick, you will need to habe the tank emptied. That will let your drainage field get some relief and your house will drain. I am not a plumber or septic worker. I just had the same issue. I hope this helps.
