Decent open driving range, not stuffy. Pro shop across the street is where you get ball tokens, 15 bucks 135 balls.

I am not reviewing the course itself because I've never played it, so I am just reviewing the DRIVING RANGE ONLY. The range is inexpensive and a good value, but my knock on it is that there are no distance listed, so you have no idea how far the half dozen flagsticks are from your driving mat. I went there to warm up for a golf outing and had no idea how far I was hitting the ball or how far I was trying to get the ball toward the flagsticks. Thus, When I attended the outing 2 days later, I was hitting the ball too far or too short because I couldn't judge my shot distance for the first few holes in the tournament. So if Rutgers Golf Course is reading this, please just print out the distances to each flag stick, laminate them, and post them on each driver's tee box.

Here I go, the course itself is not as challenging as you expected to be because of is the University course. Prices are fair but it locks some attention to details towards the players ( customers ). Little details amount for a lot, they have only a couple of board washers throughout the course and most of the time they have no liquid in it. It is one of the few courses that doesn't know for any drinking water throughout, even in scorching days. A little bit more attention will go a long way.

This is a very nice golf course with a variety of very interesting holes. The conditions were excellent considering the heat wave we are in. Greens are in great shape. Pace of play was excellent. The staff was very friendly.
