If you want to learn about Phoenixville history, this is the place to go. Great museum inside with exhibits that change monthly and a marvelous archive with access to newspapers, photos, and more. Get a membership and you can participate in events and especially walking tours of the area led by very knowledgeable historians.

Questions & Answers

I have baby/children clothing from the late 1800’s and very early 1900’s. Would you be interested in these?

I would contact Annie Wedon directly at the Society.

Absolutely, Bob, thanks for thinking of us! We're open 9a-3p Wednesday and Friday, the first Saturday of the month from 12-2p, and the first Sunday of the month from 1-4p. You can either drop in any of those times, or you can call to make an appointment to talk to a curator (610-935-7646).
