The food was okay. We’re Indian but it was still too much spicy even though we specifically asked for mild spices. Tandoori dishes were not properly marinated and cooked. Although service was decent.

The food is quite good at this restaurant. It is a bit more upscale than most Indian places and that is reflected in the prices. Overall it still remains a good value and the fact that they have a complete bar it doesn't hurt. They serve free popadam and the spicy scale is spot on. Service was very attentive. Worth the short trip from Albany to Glenmont. Update: So apparently the chef here has changed. My usual Chicken Tikka Masala last night was very disappointing. The sauce was more like soup, and having asked for extra spicy, there were jalapenos in the dish, which is NOT an Indian spice. Also no more free popadam, nor the warm welcome which we had become accustomed to. And the prices have gone up significantly. I can no longer recommend this place.
