The staff and doctors have just been great helping me with my bunny Milo. They are so good we are now taking the new additions Mac & Snowy to our family there for all their needs.

They take great care with my nervous and distrustful dogs, very low stress environment. The doctors and techs are great, you can tell they're doing this for animal welfare, not to get rich from your misfortunes.

We just moved to the area from Brooklyn and needed a new vet. I had very unpleasant vet experiences in Brooklyn…we must have been to ten different vets over my pups 6 years of life, each one worse than the next. I already had low expectations coming to Country Willow but was pleasantly surprised by our experience. It’s still curbside unfortunately, but they took him back as soon as we got there. Soon after, the vet called me and debriefed me on the visit thus far. Miloe has an auto immune disease and I was shocked that he actually read all of Miloe’s records. Not one of the vets in Brooklyn, aside from his specialist (which are frequently disappointing themselves), ever actually read Miloe’s records before the visit. The next day, the vet called me again to let me know Miloe’s blood results were back and had already approved the RX from Chewy for the heartworm preventative order that I placed the evening before. Overall, we had a pleasant experience and Miloe has a new vet!

Even though skunks can make great pets, I believe NY state currently considers them wildlife and it is illegal to own one.

Starting Bravecta today. Directions are for most ticks including I.scapularis q 12 weeks except for Lone star ( A . Americanum) q 8 weeks. Location of Lone Star is east coast but mostly in south. Have you seen any Lone Star ticks in here?

From my knowledge I haven't really seen them up here. There is always the risk of them moving more north, but at this point in time it really is the deer tick that we see most commonly.
