JANET BOLYARD
I am sorry to say my experience at this facility was miserable . I have been coming to your facility for a very long time. My procedures were sched at 1130a(at least that was what I was led to believe when scheduled), but I left the faculty just before 2pm. First procedure was done right away; then I was instructed to dress in a gown for next procedure. I waited with four ladies who came and went ; then another group went through the same process. Another patient was escorted into the waiting room and was instructed to wait until called for Xray. I asked her what time her appt was and she said noon. A few minutes passed. Tech came for her and I asked why did I have to wait when my appt was sched at 1130. She said “your appt was at 1220 which was news to me. ( current time about 130) Tech told me to talk to office manager about my complaint. About 15 min later I was then called back. Tech apologized and asked if I talked to the office manager I said no I feel something in writing would be best. Especially, since I was in my gown still and felt not real appropriate parading around the lobby that way. I explained I have never experienced anything like this before here. She gave a whole list of reasons for the delay - [ ] Corporate expectations are very demanding so facility trying to see as many patients as possible - [ ] Computer problems - [ ] Short staffed - [ ] Unforeseen patient events ie newly found medical problem(s) which requires more X-rays and contacting physicians’ offices etc - [ ] “Thanks to Oprah for televising October mammogram month “ and walk ins welcome I explained that I and many other patients would of greatly appreciated more communication. The front desk rep told me you are running behind by 30 min. I was called back timely for DEXA then gowned for over two hrs which is too long. So after that explanation i told her I was in health care over 27 years and I understand unforeseen situations occurring and understand corporate targets and expectations as well. I feel communication is key. I questioned if supervisor present to oversee operations for overwhelming moments that I was witnessing. My husband was in the lobby during this whole time and was becoming very concerned and wondering what was going on since Wi-Fi was not working well. We were unable to communicate with each other. He noticed more chaos and tempers rising in the lobby with customers/patients complaining about very long wait times. I usually don’t complain but want you to be aware. I don’t know what the reason or excuse was that day but, Solutions need to be found. You would expect the same if you were in our shoes.. Thanks for your time.

No. X-rays can be by walk-in. It doesn't hurt to have an appointment, but there's no need for one.
Great experience. The technicians were great and very caring and very professional.
They are walk in daily basis
No. But also depending on your insurance. Call them or check on the website before going.
