Family was introduced to rock climbing here and they absolutely loved it. Great location and beautiful views and relatively beginner-friendly climbing routes.

Red Rock trailhead is on East Mike Weir Drive. It's just a gravel lot. If you're looking for paved parking and toilets you can go to one of the upper lots... It's nice to start here because you have a fun intermediate climb up to some cross country style trail that will take you over to some other trails. You can ride at a pretty good Pace and it's also great for trail running. Remember to yield to downhill riders

Fantastic hike. Lots of views. Even has a good climbing area.

Has good climbing for a wide range of skill levels, including lots of beginner-friendly climbs. It's conveniently just a few minutes from the road, and it's possible to set up a top rope on all of the routes. The downside is that the area is fairly small, and the routes are short.
