Because they like to steal stuff from the patient room okay and you need to write everything down and make sure you have everything with you when you leave the hospital okay and I know that because they did it to me okay and they are refusing to pay me back for everything okay

Brought my boyfriend to the ER because he thought he might be having a stroke. They took a ct scan and then sent him home with meds and told him to see his regular doctor within 5 days. The next day he went back by ambulance. Guess what? He DID have a STROKE the previous day! A concerned nurse brought it to our attention - It's in his records! The doctor NEVER READ THE CT SCAN. Unbelievable! He has "significant" damage to both sides of the cerebellum andd spent 2 weeks in the hospital. With PT he is re-learning how to walk. His life is forever changed because of seriously medical negligence. Sanford is a Level 4 Trauma Hospital that should lose its credentials! Don't bother with patient relations because, duh, they work for Sanford and their job is to never acknowledge blame! And don't bother even talking to an attorney because our wonderful state of South Dakota protects the medical community with a 500k cap on medical negligence cases (established in 1976 (understandable) but has NEVER BEEN increased with inflation??) Well… it's just not worth the trouble for SD attorneys., not to mention intimidated by Denny Sanford. Disgusted doesn't come close to how I feel about Sanford after this devastating event!!

I made the huge mistake of going to their ER in Fargo in 2019 I never should’ve gone. They charged me $2,100 when they should have put my insurance through, and it is taking three entire years to clear it up. Now in 2022 They sent me to collections after I had already done everything I needed to do to take care of the bill, they apparently lost all of my financial aid paperwork, and three years later it still isn’t done. With all their millions of dollars (net income of $205 million per year) they will send you to collections for $200 when you’re already living under the poverty line. Thanks for nothing, Sanford.

Phenomenal nurses on the medical/oncology floor. They are doing God's work. My father was a real handful when he was in a lot of pain but these nurses went above and beyond to take care of my father. Huge thank you to the Speech Therapy Team, Physical Therapy Nurses, Encrinologists, Cardiologists and Oncologists for all your professionalism and straight forward answers.
