Yo- I love this bay! It's kept up pretty well, the views are gorgeous and it's not as busy as other bays. The buoys make for a good place to get away from all the motorized boats :) One downfall is there's a deer creek employee named Tami (I think) that puts a real damper on things. She's very rude.

This place is very serene! Gorgeous views, clear water, and very low traffic (during spring time). It a great place to do a picnic for the day and hangout with family/friends. Bring your kayak/boat to enjoy the water.

This is one of my favorite lakes to visit during the summer! We went on a Sunday afternoon and it was PACKED! Luckily, they were not yet at capacity and we were able to get in for the day. The staff are super friendly and knowledgeable, and the lake is gorgeous! This is a great place to go for a day adventure!

Questions & Answers

Are the beaches at Rainbow Bay Sandy or rocky? is it ok to bring our dog?

The beaches are mostly rocky, but more little gravely rocks than big sharp rocks. And no, dogs aren't allowed at the reservoir, unfortunately.
