I was brought here after my family lied that we were getting family therapy. From there I was severely misdiagnosed and forced medication that was not warranted, and incarcerated for a month. Years later l’m still fighting to get my 2nd amendment right restored. Have sought out therapist to assist the process who agrees I was misdiagnosed, and this ordeal likely gave me PTSD. Do NOT bring anyone you care about here!

For anyone reading this post, don't send anyone you Love to desert Vista, this place will eradicate any semblance of sanity they had left before they were admitted there. Furthermore if/when anything happens to your spouse, sister, brother, uncle,aunt, mother, father, grandmother, grandfather, girlfriend or boyfriend the staff there will not care how far they push them and how much abuse the other clients put them through and the staff will make them too afraid to do or say anything and will depend on how crazy the authorities will assume the clients are and gaslight them into saying something people will consider crazy. Desert Vista is barely suitable for an animal let alone a human being and I gurantee 100% that whatever mental state the people you Love were in, if you care for what sanity they had left send them somewhere else for help because Desert Vista will unequivocally kill them or put them through such physical abuse that they will never be the same mentally and physically. If someone you care about is struggling and you need to put them in a facility, then put them in another place anyplace, any place, that is is better then desert Vista and not worse, put them there. Desert Vista will swollow client's up and change them mentally, from someone human into a scared animal, a whole lot worse then how they were before. Don't put anyone you care about in Desert Vista. They're life might depend on it.

My nephew could not stand this place, so he came up with a escape plan. He stole a security badge to access the doors, a total of 5 in all. I can't blame him for trying, cause the way he described this place was horrifying and terrorifying to imagine. So bare with me as I try to recapture his descriptive experience...
