Celebration of life over Memorial Day here. Absolutely love the camp ground, cabins, and convenient location.

One of my all time favorite places to camp, Everlands Access becomes it's own desolate little seemingly private island/resort area depending on the crowds! It's absolutely beautiful at night when you're driving towards this place because of the way the random lights shine through all the trees and from a distance makes it look like some sort of secret fairy/garden gnome village which is actually pretty cool! It's not a large campground area but big enough whether you're pitching a tent or "roughing it out" the easy way, there's really no bad place to set up! Plus you're about a skip, hop, and a jump away from the Iowa River so whenever you're ready to drop the boat in to fish or cruise the river or dropping a line from the bank side... One thing is for sure... You're going to have a great time! Also, the people that come here are usually more often then not, frequents and have always been really cool and friendly...Neighborly in fact... Don't be too surprised if later on at night once camp is closed, if you find yourself some random new friends/drinking buddies! It usually seems like everytime I've gone, once the camp closes to the public for the night, it almost turns into a big beach style party at one of the camps end points. Always fun, even if your weren't looking for it or weren't wanting to "live it up" exactly... Lol... Serves as a nice reminder to let your hair down once in a while, maybe get your feet wet even 😁
