Do not bring extra people that is not listed on your paperwork. They will not let them in the building. So much for bringing someone for emotional support.

Came to get a get a stamp for the expiring green card here, as probably 90% of the other people. Only 3 officers were present and the queue moved very slow. If you come for the extension, make sure to bring the USCIS official letter with the GC approval.
The lady sitting at the window 10 is a real star, she did everything fast and efficient. The Russian guy thought, at the window 3 was sooo rude, yelling at everyone, being unprofessional, slow and disrespectful.
The whole process took me 1.5h.

If you need your passeport in less than 3 weeks you have to take an appointment, otherwise you can mail the application and the documents.

I'm not qualified to answer your question but you can access the uscis.gov website and look for your form and read the requirements. Get an attorney you don't want to jeopardize your status by filing or not filing the correct form. Good luck
