On my way home after a tiring errands run, I spontaneously pulled into Mellow Mushroom because I wanted a cold draft beer while I ordered a take-home pizza. I have a fondness for this bar because it always has a welcome feel about it. The bartenders are always helpful, even when a 70 yr old woman climbs onto a bar chair and says what pilsners do you have on tap. He asked a few questions and gave me a sample of Pacifico. Yum! Just what I needed. I ordered a Thai Dye pizza based on a recommendation from someone I know. I struck up a most interesting conversation with a couple visiting from New Hampshire and was totally refreshed by the entire experience. Just when I drained my glass, my pizza arrived. I was very tempted to have another draft, but went on home. All I need is to get a DUI at 70. The pizza was absolutely a delightful surprise. It had curry chicken on it, along with Thai basil and tomato. I know it sounds weird, but if you like that sweet/sour Thai taste, try it next time you visit MM. I highly recommend it. It's sorta addictive.

Best pizza and service in town. Always has been. You want the most complicated half and half ever? Sure thing. Two different bases? Gotcha. I’ve never not had a request filled. If for some reason something goes wrong it’s immediately fixed. These are great people. Give them a shot and you won’t be disappointed

Absolutely perfect service! Drinks were timely and everything was piping hot and cooked to perfection! The Wild in Havana was SO delicious.

Been here several times. It's been great every time but last time was especially good with a waiter that did her job impressively good. Not only does the restaurant itself have an impressive amount of options including a vegan cheese for the pizza that even my non vegan brother loves, but our waiter went out of her way to ask questions and double check any dietary restrictions or preferences of anyone at the table was respected, always kept our drinks filled, asked if we needed a take out box when we started looking stuffed before we even started trying to flag her down for one, everything you could want from a waiter and then some. I'm not one to ask much out of waiters at all, I know they have a lot of stress on them so I'm always pretty patient and tolerant even if they're a bit rude but here and this last visit especially have been rather impressive. Whenever I'm in the area and looking for a good dinner, this will probably be my favorite go-to every time for the foreseeable future.
