I was really happy with my nails my nail tech (Wendy) talked to me every step of the way making sure I got what I wanted it is on the pricey side mine were about 70$ but I say worth it for the experience I will be back

I recently moved to the area and have visited Lux a few times. My first few times were wonderful and the ladies made me feel pampered. I loved the color selections and the spa pedicure, however, on my most recent visit I was rushed and made to feel small by the man who did my nails. I had an appointment which I arrived to on time, the nail tech that was assigned to me was rushed from the beginning. The tech told me my pedicure was going to take long because I had “alot of extra skin” which isn’t something I’ve ever heard before, despite me being a regular mani pedi person. I’d actually visited lux 2 weeks prior for the same service. He handled me really roughly and treated me like I was an inconvenience, not a customer. He gave me an incomplete pedicure ( no massage, hot towels, paraffin, lotion literally slapped on) and a rushed manicure which I paid full price for without complaint and tipped the nail tech. I was really disappointed and slightly embarrassed by the entire encounter. I’m not sure if I’ll ever go back to be honest, the ladies that work her are really kind and do a great job but this experience made me feel like my money would be better spent elsewhere. If you choose to go here be specific about which tech you’d like. The ladies are 5/5.

I usually don’t give reviews. I got my nails done twice at this place my second experience was bad. Did not do a good job with my nails. The nail polish came off the next day so I went back to get it fixed and after second day the nails polish came off again!! it’s frustrating I’m paying for the services and I keep getting bad results. It seems they rush and it seems like they don’t care not coming back.
