They just put in a brand new play set! My girls loved it. There's great walking paths,places to take beautiful family photos, picnic areas and updated bathrooms

Nice paved loops. Biking, on-leash dog walking, etc. Often see fishermen on shoreline. Playground, 2 gazebos, and volleyball court. Large open grass space for football or frisbee. Parking lot is a decent walk from the shoreline but we often land and end our kayak excursions here rather than go to the ER boat launch. Wish they had a couple more garbage cans along the loop but not like it's too long to carry the doggy bag around (and that'd just be more work for the employees.

Great riverside park. Decent shore access when water is high or low, clean medium-sized playground, permanent in-ground bean-bag toss area, gazebos and grilling area. Pet-friendly with a nice walking trail.

The park is often busy in summer but in winter it is quiet with cleared trails.Dress for the weather and enjoy a pleasant quiet walk along the river noting the trumpeter swans and bald eagles. On a quiet day with no wind, you may be able to hear the ice moving and shifting in the river. It is a fantastic park nestled along the Mississippi River and a gem to enjoy!
