Was not impressed. Water had so many trees in it. The campgrounds were nice. Large bathroom & showers.

This place is more than just a campground. It's also part of a county park. The park is huge. Really impressive. Playground for the kids. Plenty of parking. Picnic shelters. Vault toilets. Jetty and boat ramps. Trails. Equestrian trails. Primitive camping is available. Modern cabins. And the lake. Fishing is permitted. The day I visited the park staff had just finished mowing. This park is huge for a county park. There is a paved walking trail leading into and out of the park. In my opinion this place is well worth seeing.

We visited the campground but didn’t spend a night. Looked very clean. Concrete pads for electrical sites. A tad close together for my liking. Had individual shower rooms. Nice lake and not crowded at all, especially for Labor Day. I fished and had a couple bites but no catches. There looks to be a very nice paved bike trail through the area too as well as nice cabins for rent. I’d come back and camp here especially during the week.
