Pleasant clean hotel with good hot breakfast - eggs, sausage, waffles, as well as a number of other options like yogurt, cereal and packaged muffins etc. Staff are friendly and welcoming.

Positive: The location and the desk staff.we ended up staying an additional night due to weather and the desk clerk was very helpful. Negative: The tub was filthy. Hair, dirt, disgusting. Went to target to get cleaning supplies and cleaned the bathroom myself. Also had no shower curtain or bath mat. Called down for those. Sheets had makeup stain on them, some towels were stained. The bed was hard

I lived in the AmericInn for 3 months while I was waiting for my house to be remodeled. I can guarantee it is the nicest hotel in Winona. The staff are amazing! They are kind, helpful, and made my stay so much better! I would like to especially call out Mindy, Sarah, and Jamaica! They did everything to help us and make our stay as comfortable and relaxing as possible. They bend over backwards to accommodate you and your needs. The hot tub, bar, and fitness room are just added benefits! Always well maintained. The bar actually has a decent selection of beer. Though the beer prices are a tad high. My only other qualm is that the breakfast was only average, but according to the staff that is a completely different vibe then when they could do a hot breakfast bar.
