This review pains me to write because we have zero complaints about the apartment itself. That being said, management absolutely ruined the experience. BE WARNED: management only wants your money and refuses to work with unless they get their money. For example, we moved in while we had another month left on our old lease. Magnolia management said “that’s fine, we can wait to receive your deposit until your finished paying with your old place”. WRONG!! Pretty much the day after we signed the lease they were persistent on receiving our deposit payment and even charged us a late fee. Then we had to break our lease early because my partner and I had to move to NYC for work and We let management know 4 months in advance. While every apartment building I’ve lived in has an early lease termination fee clause, I’ve never actually had a single apartment management act on it (and I’ve lived in 4 different major cities). No Magnolia management made us pay all $3k of the lease break fee AND to top it all off charged us and additional $150 from our security deposit for “screw holes” from mounting our TV (even though they provide a wall for a TV to be mounted) and they charged us for a stain on the carpet that was already there before we moved in (in spite of the fact that they are legally obligated to replace the carpet between each tenant). So move here only for the building and not for management. We hope your experience is different than ours.

Excellent location, low-traffic building, and staffed by wonderful people that actually care. This place is great! UPDATE: Shady billing practices upon move-out. They miscalculated my final payment (auto-pay), then adjusted it up 7 days later, did not process an auto payment for the adjustment, and then hit me with a late fee 3 days after that. This all happened with zero communication to me.

Lived here for over 2 years, one of the best experiences I had an apartment complex. Good location (right by streetcar stop), gated parking, and any maintenance issues were handled quickly and the maintenance staff was nice. Maintenance issues weren’t very common and I found my unit to be very quiet. I did have a package stolen once but other than that I had no issues here, and enjoyed the lack of extra fees tacked onto the rent.

Wonderful place to live
