It was closed in 2017 due to the fact that they renovated the entire bath house area. It wasn't closed due to lake erosion. It re-opened for the summer of 2018 and is currently open in 2019.

Fort Niagara State Park portion is usually open dawn to dusk. Every day.

Parks typically begin opening up various facilities after April 15... At Fort Niagara there are some additional factors... The power plant begins withdrawing less water from the upper river, allowing more water to flow over the falls and eventually to lake ontario... The other concern is the removal of the ice boom at lake Erie... I would suggest calling the park for specifics..

Yes I have recently visited and noticed strictly PETS are not allowed at Niegra Falls in any tourist place as well Niegra Fort.

$8 to park, $3 an adult, ages 6-12 is $1.50 and kids 6 and under is free at the pool.

Not sure where the pool was..but, people seemed to be enjoying picnics around the area. So yes.

Not at the Fort or immediate area. Down the road there is an area.

The visitors center and the small lighthouse by the parking lot are free. The fort itself is a paid tour.

We didn't try , but ppl over there are very helpful . I am sure they will help.
