Staff is RUDE! There is a couple night shift employees that are courteous and respectful but don't expect it from anyone else working there. Roaches in rooms, room was dirty at check-in, and the water in the kitchen leaked. Plumbing from garbage disposal has overflow that runs out into the dishwasher as well as just an open hose right into the cabinet under the sink (smells horribly). Billing is inconsistent, it's never the same each week and the lady doing it can't explain why.... Also a very rude night shift receptionist will double charge your card on file in the middle of the night after you've already paid. If you complain they will make it a credit on your account but hassle you to pay each week.... (Even with over $600 credits from the "mysterious 2 am unauthorized ghost charges"). This place is a very bad joke at a dry bar. It's closing at the end of October to be "A Construction Site" according to the paper they slid under the door. Can't imagine why....but thank you.

The staff was very professional and helpful from the time we checked in to the time we left. Upon making it to the room we noticed the outer door had damage to it as if someone kicked at it. We entered the room and noticed tape on the door frame near the knob. The chairs and sofa were stained and did not look to have been cleaned in a while. The fridge was dirty along with the tub area. The room was very outdated and the furniture had tear marks on it. I spoke with the front desk and he was very understanding and provided a full refund.

Don't squander your money or time here. My fiancé and I had reserved a week's stay at the Sonesta Suites on Alpha Road. We were met by a lovely lady staffing the front desk when we arrived. Unfortunately, she informed us that the pool will be closed throughout our stay. We were disappointed because one of the reasons we chose this hotel was because it had an outdoor pool. We kept our reservation, put our luggage in the hotel, and headed out for the day to explore Dallas. We didn't observe anything until the second day... - stains on both the bedroom curtains and the living room curtains - the tv in the living room didn’t work - the fridge wasn’t working - there was MOLD and small black bugs in the ice machine - none of the outlets in the kitchen worked - the phone did not work. It wouldn’t even call the front desk - the room smelt like a combination of weed, smoke and musk We went to the front desk and requested a room change. A young gentleman generously aided us with this, and we moved two rooms down. We discovered the AC wasn't working after moving all of our possessions into this newly allotted room. Because Texas was experiencing a heat wave during our trip, enduring a week without a pool or air conditioning was not what we paid for. Unfortunately, we had no alternative but to request a refund and stay at a different hotel for the duration of our visit. The refund was issued for the remaining days. The only reason this hotel deserves a star is because of how polite and helpful the front desk greeters were.
