Hit the creek early this morning and had the place to our selves ...Only an 11 minute drift down from the HWY 20 bridge and a 22 minute paddle back up. I've been paddling this creek more than 40 years and only realized a few years ago how close Gainer Spring is to the bridge and that going up the creek is even possible.

Love this place. You kayak down a creek and theres several clear water springs on the way. You can kayak into the clear springs then get out and have a great time. There are lots of people kayaking with you on this journey. I think its about a five mile kayaking trip. If you are in the panama city beach area look up kayaking the springs and go. You will have a blast. You can rent one seater kayaks or you can rent two seater kayaks. When you rent the kayaks you will want to make sure you bring a water proof bag for all your items you dont want to get wet. You can also take a small cooler with snacks. Expect to be out there all day. If you stop at all the springs that they offer and the five mile trip, its gonna be a long day but worth every minute of it. I cant remember how much the kayaks were it was twenty or twenty five for a single seater and i think about thity to thirty five for a double seater. It is worth every penny of it. We have been going to panama city beach for years and never knew this place existed. We are gonna go back to kayak the springs again when we go back to panama city beach.
