We were in the area. Never been here before. It was amazing food. The hush puppies and onion rings were fantastic. So crispy absolutely perfect. I have not had them like that since I left Florida. My husband had the catfish and vinegar based coleslaw. He had nothing but great things to say. I had the shrimp there were 3 pieces. Trust me I was full. I haven't tried the crab cake.

I had to go food from here several months ago and it was delicious. I ate in house this time and wasn't as impressed. The hush puppies were overcooked and the fish just didn't have a lot of flavor. I will try again.

I do my best not to be down on a place, but cold food.. I ordered crab cakes, the menu says crab, this thing was over cooked and smelled like straight up fish. The macaroni one of hardest things to get wrong, well it wasnt even warm and tasted like water. There are more choices and more places to get catfish along with some good sides, unfortunately this just wasn’t the place. I would have to agree with other reviews. The lack of flavor was very real. Would not go out of my way. I drove the 40 minutes to go and just will not be back. Thanks for reading.

Be ready to belly up! The catfish here is great. Really good spot if you're passing through Springfield. Food was fresh, service was great, and a good ambience. Really glad we came while we were passing through!
