We rented the history center for our Victorian themed wedding/masquerade ball. The building was suitable for our event. The person in charge of renting out the venue, Cyndi Meadows believes that she is the wedding planner as well. We had our own wedding planner and did not need her pushy, overbearing ways. She was constantly injecting herself into our event instead of remaining in the wings. Her interference was annoying and disruptive to say the least. Our experience would have been so much better without Cyndi Meadows hovering over every little thing. Would never rent this venue again.

We had so much fun here! Great history and pieces, and they kept it very interesting. Would recommend checking it out if you're from the area, or just visiting.

Can anyone tell me the exact location of the Marestone House, Yeatmans Station Rd in New Garden Twp? We believe our 5th Great Grandfather, John Beeson b.1739 d. 1793 lived there. Traveling through April 1, 2019 and will stop at the Chester GS.

The library may have information on the property. We're open from 9 30 to 4 30 Tuesday through Saturday. If it's the one I think you're talking about it's at the corner of municipal drive and Carlson Blvd. -I work here and used to live in Downingtown.

I am trying to find out if I can view Photographs that I think are contained in the History Center. According to the website,it houses Chester County's "Photo Archives." Research Library is closed until 2/1- does that include Photo archives?
