I am sitting in my husband's room, they just told us he tested positive for covid and left and closed the door!!!Not telling me what happens next, tried to contact anyone and was told to calm down and go home! I am so disappointed in this place!!! I left, but no one answers at nurses station so I don't know what his current condition is. Director of Nursing is Rude! I appreciate the executive director of LifeCare coming in and talking to me calmly, and helping transfer my husband to the quarantine unit, helping me put on my protective wear and not putting me out of the building .He even helped push my husband's bed to the new area. He was calm and apologetic for what was said earlier. THANK YOU VERY MUCH

This place takes care and shows love to it's residents. If I ever need rehab or skilled nursing again I plan to return to life care. They did all they could to help me and got me where I needed to be to return home. They showed me great patience and love. I felt like family. I appreciate everything they've done for me.

My mother spent four weeks at this facility and it was the worse experience of her life. The comments on this site pale in comparison to what her experience was. My sister and I based our decision to send our mother to this facility based upon a recommendation from a social worker and the reviews that are posted here and we are beyond disappointed and angry about the treatment and care that she received. My mother was sent to Life Care after a six-day hospital stay because she was in need of PT and OT to recoup from her weakened state. My mom does not suffer from dementia or Alzheimer's, so she fully understood the mistreatment and lack of treatment that she received. The PT staff did not work with her consistently, the staff were mean and rude to her, she would buzz for assistance and staff would respond with things like, "what do you want now?" or "I don't have time to deal with you right now." and there were several times that no one even bothered to check on her. There were also times that my mom would call my sister and have her call to get assistance. One day my mom became ill and had diarrhea and vomiting and they allowed her to lay in her own bowel and vomit as no one bothered to come when she called. There were many days that she would not be changed for 6+ hours, she had two UTI's and she contracted VRE during the course of her stay and the nightmare goes on and on. There were many days that I would call and my mom would cry and say "they treat you so bad in here", "I feel trapped" and she recognized that the mistreatment was causing her to feel helpless and hopeless. She also recognized that the PT and OT that she was receiving was inadequate as she has been in a skilled rehab facility in the past and she has received PT and OT at home. My mother was afraid to share these things with us while she was in the facility as she felt like the staff would retaliate if they knew she had reported their mistreatment and rudeness. No one should ever be fearful in a facility where folks are supposed to provide care to you. The elderly are an extremely vulnerable population and to know that you have people working with them that mistreat them is inhumane. I wonder how they would feel if it was their loved one that was being mistreated. Thankfully, she has been discharged and is now at home. PT is coming in to work with her at home and when the therapist came for the initial assessment and read over her paperwork from Life Care, he was appalled and shared that we needed to ensure that we reached out to the powers that be at Life Care to express our concerns as my mother did not receive the rehabilitation that she was sent there to receive, in fact, she further digressed in her abilities while at Life Care. I reached out to Executive Director, Vasya Malenchii and received a canned response in which he shared the mission of Life Care and stated that our next experience will be up to the high standard that is expected from Life Care. Unfortunately for Life Care, there will not be a next experience for any of my family members. Knowing that my mother was mistreated and received inadequate care is unacceptable. My mother nor anyone else in my family will ever be subjected to this type of mistreatment as well as I would hate to see anyone else's loved one be mistreated and not receive the appropriate care. On a positive note, there were several individuals that my mother mentioned that provided exemplary care and I made the executive director aware of who those individuals were. She also had two amazing roommates while she was there which did add a ray of hope and a bit of positivity. But unfortunately, her overall experience at Life Care is one that no one should ever have to experience.

The Executive Director and the Director of Nursing are some of the most compassionate two i have ever met!!! The employees take very well care of the patients. Don't have to worry about your loved one here. They are safe and love the employees themselves. Not to mention all the extra curricular activities they do with them. Even during theses most difficult COVID times, the administration has done a tremendous job in keeping everyone safe and sound. Highly recommend this nursing home to anyone looking to place their loved one in a nursing home. Definitely the best facility in the Nashville area!!!

I am 63 and am going to have a total knee replacement but live alone with 2 sweet Boston terriers. My main stay would mainly be for skilled nursing help with bathing and physical therapy to get me strong enough to go home. Can meals be brought to rm
