We had a lovely stay and the kids pool was great! So many friendly travelers to chat with too. Laundry machines available. Bathrooms were hit or miss. Some were all working condition and some were not (one missing a shower head) (one never had toilet paper) etc. Also no shade at our spot. We only have a small camper to sleep and no ac so some shade would be a nice addition but we definitely had the wrong type of camper so I can see why it wouldn't be a big deal for others! Nice to have the food options around too. Cute lake and little beach. All in all we really enjoyed it.

Overall, this is a very nice RV Resort. The idea behind it is fantastic, and the facilities are really great. However, it seems like the grounds are being a bit neglected in a few areas. Bathrooms - Filthy. Not cleaned well at all. We stayed here for a week and I never once saw the bathrooms cleaned. Every morning the bathrooms were as dirty as in the evenings. From the outside, they look like beautiful facilities but were not well maintained at all. Dog - Dog feces were everywhere in the grass. I understand that owners need to be responsible and pick this up, but it falls on the ground if this does not happen. No dog bags in the dog dispensers at any place in the park. Again, the facilities and 'idea' behind this park is great, but the park is not being well maintained at all. I hate to see a beautiful place like this go downhill because of poor maintenance.

We really enjoyed staying here. There were lots of other campers but it was still very peaceful. Love love love the adult only hot tub even though some still brought the kids in, they were well behaved. It was a little cool for the lazy river but I have it a go and it was a blast! I’m over 50 and still act like a kid. So much to do without leaving the park. Thanks

A large group of us stayed at the new cottages by the lake. There was plenty of room for outdoor activities. Each night we had fires going in the provided fire pits and enjoyed the views. The cottages were very nice! Would highly recommend this place for couples, families, groups, and business retreats!

Like being in a hotel. I have been here for 5 months and was able to watch Netflix. Your login expires every 24 hours.
No fishing but if you get a room at edgewater inn you're gonna be definitely pleased
I don't think they are ready yet. Call them.
No
Sorry no but maybe Reunion resort has a list of anyone that may.
From what I have learned since you can also rent an RV there.
All types of campers are welcome there. The term "RV" these days refers to most all campers drivable or towed.
It was damaged during Ida and not open this summer
It's on the pricey side about 63 a night but they have tons of activity stuff
As far as we saw everything appeared to fully open.
No RVs just hook-up sites and they are building tiny cabins now
Yes. No day passes. They are building cabins though.
There are no permanent sites. They do have some monthly sites available only in the off season.
Yes, there's a fire ring at each site
Standard site is 60/night..
I didn't see permanent sites but I suggest you call & ask. Beautiful campground!!! I would definitely stay long term
I assume the rule is in place because a 400 pound drunk whale wearing nothing but daisydukes fell off a scooter and slid across the black top on its belly taking out 3 kids and flipping a class A RV. You had to be there to believe it.
i dont think you can bring a tent. but the reunion lake campground does not rent rv's
No cabins, but over 200 RV sites. Great place!
Yes ma'am, we are! Our park is open year around, however our office is closed on Christmas Day.
No
Yes. Just let the office know
I am pretty sure they mean, no outside food in the pool areas. I cooked out everyday....it's not the whole park. LoL
It's an awesome place. It has the same park rules as most other parks. It also has great amenities. I don't understand the negativity of the posts above, but we've stayed a month at a time, two years running, and loved every minute of it.
Call them. Dugh
No they are not last few years they have sprayed.
It's a little pricey. But I think well worth it. The only thing I did not like was there were no trees.
I arrived in mid-November, and everything was shut down. They won't even let you kayak on it.
yes at every site, they request you buy thier wood.
I was just there a week ago and you're allowed up to 8 people per site with an rv. The first 4 are covered by your daily rate and the other 4 must pay $10.00 per day each. And yes the person with the rv must come to the office to get you signed up to their account.
After 4ppl...its $10 plus tax
I can't help you with info I only went there 1 time I didn't get a chance to fish
No they are filling park with rv sites and there is no room to add cabins
yes, heated in the winter and cooled in the summer
It's a fresh water lake made when the park was created. The excavated earth makes the sound barrier "dirt bank" surrounding the park.
Seen atv's while there.
Only RV slips. No cabins.
I have no idea, never visited the site.
This isn't a question ffs
Monthly reservations are available only during the winter season November 1st through March 31st. $675 per month for single sites and $825 for premium sites monthly stay include complimentary Wi-Fi cable and electricity
I have to disagree with you here, Nancy. It's a RV resort. Not a public water park. Keeps the crowds down
Good afternoon Nancy. Thank you for your interest in our rv resort but unfortunately we do not offer day passes our activities are for camping guess only. Thank you and have a wonderful day.
Check in is at 4 pm. If you call us the morning of your arrival and the site that you are coming to is available then you may check in as early as 12.
Check in is at 2pm
Ponchatoula, on Hwy 22, has the self wash style car wash. There is one in Bedico on Hwy 22.
8 people and 2 cars per site.
The pool is included, not sure about other water activies. You get one wristband per person which are color coded. Must be an adult to go to adult pool with swim up bar. Great place to visit.
We were told that they are both open year round, I would give them a call to verify
It's usually a little cool, even with the heated pools. Hot tub was great in February and lots of kids were in the lazy river. But it was an unusally warm few days.
