If you want baked goods solely on the product then this is your bakery. The cake we ordered was amazing flavor wise (including the fondant which I've never enjoyed a fondant ever). The cake was vibrant with color but the "ocean" part of the cake was just blue with fondant decorations no green for seaweed or any other colors it was just blue which after seeing some of their work was disappointing. My biggest issue is their communication and customer service or both a lack of. I was ready to write a horrible review with 1 star based on my experience with this bakery but if the product spoke for itself as far as taste goes without the experience it would be 4/5 stars.

Got cupcakes and cookies for my sister's baby shower. Almost everyone took seconds or even thirds of the cupcakes and I personally think their cookie icing is one of the best I've had.

I was reluctant to try this bakery based on all the bad reviews about the service. But we didn't have any issue the first couple times we went in here, as for the actual baked goods, they're good, we didn't have anything bad, but you could find the same quality stuff at a bakery in many grocery stores. But we will never go back here out of principle based on the rudeness and attitude of what I assume is the owner's daughter. All the other reviewers were definitely right! The way she treats and speaks to customers is completely unacceptable. I ordered a cake a couple weeks ago and the girl told me I could pay when I picked it up, which I did, no problem. The next time I called who I assume is the owner's daughter asked me what time I was picking it up and I told her and she told me no. So I gave her another time frame and she told me no that it had to be after 2.... And she was very snotty about it, I said okay that's fine. Then she says you have to pay now, I told her I wasn't aware of that after the last order and I didn't have a credit card on me to pay right then, but I would call back with the credit card, she got really snotty with me and hung up the phone on me in mid sentence. I thought maybe she didn't hear me and it was an accident so I called back the next day to pay with a credit card and she continued with the same snotty attitude from the day before and told me in a very rude tone "you're not getting your cake because you weren't willing to pay yesterday" and that someone else had called and ordered a cake and taken my spot. I easily could have switched the day for pickup but at that point I thought there's no way I'm going to give one penny to someone who treats their customers with such a rude attitude. I can place an order at Eileen's and have it ready on short notice the next day and pick it up anytime I want, and always have friendly service and their buttercream is the best in the city. I will continue to go there. This was just a closer bakery but I'd rather drive a little further and not deal with people like this. I'm not the first customer they loss if you look at the reviews there's plenty of others let them keep losing customers until their bakery eventually goes out of business with their bad attitude.
