My husband and I looked into this complex recently since our lease was up for renewal. If you have children DO NOT MOVE HERE. There is nothing for children to do, the woman doing the tour suggested find info outside activities for our son because there’s nothing for him to do. It was the middle of August and not a kid in site. It’s like a retirement complex or assisted living home. The units are beautiful but if you entertain, it’s to quiet and stuffy. If you are 65 and over and don’t have children to come visit, this is the place for you. Otherwise, don’t bother.

Jacobs Woods is a very nice place to live. The property is beautiful and the apartments very nice & spacious. The staff is great. The location is perfect. BUT, if you have children or have children visit you this place is not for you. Children are not permitted to do anything. We have a 9 yr. old grandson who is just so unhappy living here it is painful to watch. We are told people are complaining when we play ball (air balls) or anything else for that matter. This is a place for older people. They have a real nice guarded pool BUT again you can't do anything in it. It is unfortunate that we cannot enjoy living here. Jacob's Wood's is not a 65 & older nor is it a nursing home but it probably should be leased as such.
