Very disappointed with service. Its been 4 days I am calling to office regarding maintenance. No one is there to receive a call or to even reply voice mails.
Hope Chudick
The Maintenance Team responded in 24 hours and replaced the blinds. thank you

I really wanted to live here but after dealing with the leasing office, I thought that I noticed too many red flags. I called their office earlier this month to set up a tour of a townhome and we scheduled a tour on a Sunday. After confirming, another staff member called me three times and emailed before I even showed up for my appointment, asking me what I was looking for but I had already confirmed this information with the previous staff member that I talked to when I set up the appointment. Annoying, but no big deal. After we toured an apartment (note: one that had a mild pet odor), not a townhome that my partner and I were looking for, we paid for the $300 application to apply for one of the townhomes. We asked the leasing person if we could come in later in the week to tour an actual townhome so that we could see how it differed from the apartment unit that we toured. At the time of the first tour there weren't any townhomes vacant for us to see and we were led to believe that one would be available in a few days. When the day before the second tour came, we talked to the same leasing person and he said that no, we didn't have a tour scheduled for the next day, so we set up another one for the next week. At this time our application was approved and they wanted us to sign a lease ASAP. But the townhome that we had applied for wasn't available any longer so we had to choose another unit or choose another move in date (something along those lines). By this point, my partner and I were annoyed that they couldn't keep simple details straight with us like move in date/availability, tour dates, etc. Meanwhile, they said that we had to sign a lease within that week as per their policy. We tried to explain that we weren't comfortable signing a lease before seeing an actual model in person. We were also willing to reapply a second time if needed, because we were that adamant about seeing a unit before signing the lease. What concerned me the most in this situation though, was that the leasing person kept calling my partner and I incessantly, a few times a day, trying to get us to sign a lease and change our move in date/unit. The "second" tour attempt that we then scheduled would've been a week after we had the lease signing deadline, so we wouldn't see a unit until after we signed the papers. We decided that even though we were desperate to find a home quickly, that this was a scenario that made us very uncomfortable. My partner and I were excited to live in this community, but the leasing staff just left us feeling like there were several unnecessary miscommunications and we were unnerved that they kept trying to pressure us into committing to a unit that we didn't tour. I understand that most of the units were occupied at the time, so that wasn't possible, but they should've given us the chance to see one before giving us a super quick lease deadline. I am disappointed because I currently live in Abrams Run, another Morgan Properties location and have never had any issues at all. Their staff has always been kind and professional. This whole interaction, one that should have been a lot smoother, was just so unorganized.

I lived at Brookside for more than 3years. The maintenance and office staff always responded to us in a timely manner and attended to any issues or request. In last year or so, the maintenance has updated many things including play areas for kids, waiting area at bus stop , trash drop area, painting the doors, mailbox, apartment numbering to name few. This shows how attentive the management and maintenance team are in this complex. One upgrade feedback I have is to have an area for dropping recycle items I highly recommend Brookside to anyone moving into this area.

Wow that is pretty strange... Are they smoking outside your open window? Are they doing it intentionally? With respect, of course, sometimes we smell things like cigarettes smoke, BBQ smoke, leaves burning, fertilizer, cooking aroma etc but it is not filling our living area. It's bad when we experience stuff like this I don't think Brookside has any legal responsibility to stop a neighbor smoking in his/her area, but they may help you get a air purifier/filter . Ask them directly. If not ask them to help you relocate to another apt but that would probably cost you some of your hard earned cash.
$50 per applicant
Brookside does offer one bedroom apartments.
They work with people
$300 total or $30 per rent.

I'm not sure, my daughter lives there, decent community. They have a good staff, she pays $1200, including 2 pets, water, gas heat, hot water and cooking; but not electric.
