Rude, unprofessional, lack of knowledge. I asked how to get another I-94 and the lady told me: “same way you got that one, exit the country and get in again”. I was wondering to myself if that conversation was really happening to me from how disrespectful… talk about lack of diversity knowledge and approach to people

I would like to tell you about an employee Milton Leonard that helped us this morning. It was such a pleasure working with him. He was very professional and took his time explaining everything in detail with us. He did not rush us off the phone or pass us to someone else . We have social security since august of last year and not one single time on the phone or even in person we’re we treated in such a kind and caring manor. I wish there were more people like him!

@Blue Zombies! Don't have pity on them! They have 100 people working to take our money SS and Taxes and 1 person to give it back. Classic government corruption intentionally orchestrated by a socialistgovernment! Ask yourselves why isnt there as many government employees working on both sides of the coin?

I need to make a appt,my name is Betty amburgy,
You won't get your aocial security card quickly. Go to social security administation office. Check in at the machine, and then wait for about 2 and 1/2 hours. You'll get a print out,and wait more tha one week for your card.
I can show your birth certificate and your I.D card. Then you are good!!!!
Yes my mom needs that really bad my daddy passed away 3months ago .
Yes. Call during business hours. They are performing maintenance. Coronavirus virus sanitation has to block incoming calls.
I do not work for Social Security
Ggh
The best option for you is to schedule an appointment with councilor and find out what information is different.
Yes it is much faster not counting the traffic maze and parking to get there and yes masks are recommended but not required.
Two weeks are less
Same here !! Ive been calling and calling they have my kids shot records and my passport and i need all the documents back .. I cant ever get a hold of anyone
Yes, they see people by appointment only.
I'm waiting for my 2016 ontomtax
Need to know how to make an appointment to see social Security Dept.
Send them the routing numbers
You can call in for the individual but make sure that person is present with you so that they can verify their information and if they want to give you permission to speak on their behalf after they have verified their identity they can. Make sur they know their name, address, date of birth and place of birth. Als they need to know their mothers maiden name. Once they have verified these identifying questions you can speak for them.
Can I come in and pickup a Award letter
No
Some folks do!! It all depends on your total income. The formula is in the tax booklet.
I just walked in. But go early so your not there all day. The office opens at 9am. Wednesday are slower days
Yes. Closed Monday for Holiday.
My suggestion would be to go into the office around 11 am and wait to see someone. In my experience, usually by then the crowds have died down and the help is more efficient.
If you can, print off whatever papers you need to bring a fill them out. Go down early because there can be a long line. Have a mask with you to wear and either tell the lady what you are there for or use the kiosk if she's not. Make sure you have your identification cards and anything else you will need. Pay attention when they call out numbers or you will lose out. Depending on how many windows are open, will make your visit short or long. Hope this helped
No. They are doing walk ins.
You can walk in but you'll have to wait a pretty long time unless you show up right when they open.
You can walk in for sure like I did today 1 and 1/2 hours I was on my way with award letter
They have appointments for very few reasons, mostly it is first come first serve
I go early and am out within the hour. When I call the Down Town Ft Worth office I get through
I walked in and you get it ticket where you register at the computer seems it went pretty smooth for me second time I went there and it was pretty good have you go around lunch time or something like that then you have a waiting period but they were very professional with me thanks God bless
Call the 800 number or you do it online at ssa.gov. good luck.
I have turned in Information 6 times trying to get my grandson ssi check restarted and each time they tell me they never received nothing like I have never went so this last time I asked for a receipt and this morning when I called now they have received it and I would have to wait 30 days before I get an answer which is sad cause they originally told me to bring his papers to get it started back
No you can walk in
They are doing walk in. I went by 8:30 and was out an hour later.
I jumped through all the hoops online and did everything they asked of me. Was supposed to have an online appointment and conversation which they can do it over the phone. They do not tell you when they're going to call you. They will tell you they will call you within 30 days. Don't hold your breath they won't. And I'll total I wasted 2 months trying to get everything done online not but once but twice. I finally resorted to going downtown to a social security administration without an appointment. I got every single thing done including Medicare including social security all done within the hour. My advice is don't waste your time online just go down to the office and go for there no appointment necessary.
Yes
Create you an account online then you will be able to do just about anything dealing with ss
They don't do face to face anymore. You drop off the application for name change with you original Driver's license or passport. They mail it all back to you in 7 to 10 days.
Make an appointment too the social security office look up and call the number
100 Lynn drive azle tx 76020
No they dont unless u go in early
I've lost my social security card and I'm trying to obtain another one. What should I do.
Schedule a in person visit it had to be a error with the data clerk when u name the baby at the hospital. Take the birth certificate and let them know they put wrong name on as card.
If you mean you receive monthly benefits and he used to get them faster there are some ways you can do so if you have a direct deposit card you will not get your money faster however if you have a bank such as Capital One or chase you can get your money earlier because their systems seem to process faster however if you go through a loan company they will deduct their wages first and then you can pick up the remainder from them however I do not recommend going through a loan company I recommend you change your bank and if you don't have one I recommend you getting one also if you need insurance I can definitely help you with that it's not just insurance that your family can collect after you're dead it's a Lyft policy a policy that covers you not only after you are deceased but while you're still living if you are interested leave another message and I can give you the information you need
It is open. The phone service is "just there" at best, not necessarily helpful. You can try your luck at getting in without an appointment, 50 50 chance really.
Only on Appointment, and is hard to talk with them at the phone, usually after 10 minutes waiting on the phone the line mysteriously get cut off. Good luck
There is no one at the Downtown branch. You have to call and talk with someone. If you need to replace a card you have to fill out a SS5 form and mail it in.
Call them directly and get an appointment, next, you will have a physical meeting with them and finally you will have your card within 10 days.... Sometime you might not have a chance to talk with a representative who understand your case...try again till you get your appointment...
Yes...only through phone....if you need to have a physical appointment you must fix that by phone
Call them for assistance
If i am not wrong, if it is a first time you have ti set an apointment. Thats what i had to do 2 weeks ago. Best of luck to you to be able to speak to someone. When you call this office it directs the calls to national line and when/if they answer they tell you to call local. Its a loop. I had to go to Ardmore,OK and took care of it in 15 mins. The reason i had to go is because they want to see the original dpcuments. Look at the surranding area. As far as your documents i am afraid they wont even look at them.
There open but it seem like it's for appointment only so you may have to call first
Definitely call before showing up. You have to mail in your identifying documents and its taking them about 4 weeks to process and get your docs back to you.
When I called they said they are backed up by about two months
They do have a fax number, I recommend calling the office and asking for their fax number so you'll send it to the right number and all the info needed
I requested a replacement for my grandson by mail and sent the birth certificate. They returned it 2 months later saying they did not accept Birth certificates as id. He needed to have a certified (school stamp) transcript!
They are open to appointments only for specific purposes. You will have to contact the office during hours to have them further assist you.
Well most offices are closed right now and you will have to make an appointment because of c19
Yes you can
You have to call them and confirm what they have on file then give them new information
The location is on altamesa is open to the public.
No they are not
you have to go into the office with your birth certificate and identification They will not issue over the phone
You can get a job you just can only work 20 hours a week and you also need to report it to the SS office
Yes, just take it back
Yes but not on wensday theyclose at 12 pm unless you get there before then
No have to go to food stamp office
First, call and check your record with Social Security. If everything checks; out call the three major credit bureaus and put a block on your Social Security Number. Don't give out any of your information to anyone calling and saying they are from Social Security.
Im experiencing the exact same thing but i haven't recieved anything at all in the mail saying that i don't recieve benefits any longer or any letter at all i was only supposed to be getting a review done and now this ....i turned my papers in on time and every thing ...i still haven't recieved a answer or notification that they have recieved my paper work or anything
No ma'am. There is free parking at the Altamesa location and the Grand Prairie location but not Downtown Fort Worth
Social Security Administration is under remodel they're located across the hallway in a different location yesterday I saw people just standing in line so I guess it's first come first serve I suggest getting there by 9 a.m.
No idea I just work in the same building as the Social Security office. You might try SSA.gov.
I know this response is a month after your question - but were you able to make it to your appointment?
Visit Socia Security Administration website: https://www.ssa.gov/ If you're still not getting answers, reach out to your Congressman or Congresswoman. Use this link to find out who represents you: https://wrm.capitol.texas.gov/home
Sign on the Social Security online website at https://www.ssa.gov/onlineservices
U know Alan Kerber u dont have to be rude about it. Like sir. Or mam whatever u are. This usa like u said so shouldn’t it be a free country?

I have no idea. Ask your credit card company.

Better yet, avoid the long lines and wait at the SSA Office go to; https://www.ssa.gov/myaccount/ and apply for your replacement card online.

No
Okay! Call the Social Security Office and make an appointment to go over the details with someone who can help you.
If you're a legally permanent resident or a citizen it's FREE.
We are waiting until today for social security cards, it has been a month that we apply. Please help us .
There is nearby 'all-day' parking for $10 which I used, but I'm sure there are better options.
Either. If you make an appointment your wait time will be less.
Call them he was suppose to gotten it a few days later after birth
All depends on when you eligibility for benefits is established and if you are entitled to any monies. Contact the Social Security Office for more details.
Yes but if you exceed $2,000 monthly, benefits can be taken away or payments lowered. I do not work as my son is 24/7 care, but I have in the past, I always made around $1200 a month or less. I always reported to them immediately. It’s important to contact them with any changes in employment. They view your W2, taxes, assets, bank account, etc. Basically anything your name is attached to as the representative payee. If you get paid under the table or are self employed, you must show proof of ALL money earned including bank statements, and anything else you may have showing the income. If you save the money for your child, you must show the savings account, trust, or how you are saving the money and how much you’ve saved. If you have any questions regarding employment, changes, or pay schedule visit ssa.gov or call them directly.
Yes just bring all of the documents showing why you are changing your name.
No, but it you can and it will expedite your wait time.
