I was actually working there til very recent started on 5/11/2022 til 5/21/2022. My opinion about the hotel its self, even tho it is an older hotel it's actually nice looking the only thing they truly lack on is the cleanliness if they kept it a little more tidy, cleaner hallways etc the hotel will be great. Now as to management let's start off with the supervisor Alex overall I don't think he is a bad person, but he is definitely a tad unprofessional. I'll explain not only did I notice he had preferences within housekeepers and made it well known but he would also bad mouth Rohan to us which in this case is the supervisor under him for whatever reason he wasn't happy with him and honestly we didn't need to know. He wasn't fair with the list of rooms every housekeeper got, as I noticed myself that he would give us the new girls once we got the hang of it he'd give us more rooms than the rest. About me: I was always on time and never called out it isn't what I like to do. But unfortunately I have a son with a life-threatening condition and on 5/20/2022 his liver transplant team in Orlando called me because he needed an MRI procedure done as soon as possible and gave me the appointment for the day after which was a Saturday and I was scheduled to work it. Unfortunately I am the only one that can take him therefore I showed Alex proof and told him I couldn't work the day. Saturday after I was done with my son's app at around 6pm I received a call that my mother had a heartattack and was taken to Hudson Emergency Hospital, I immediately thought to let Alex know I wasn't going to be able to work that Sunday I was scheduled for obvious reasons but that I was going to bring him proof or a doctors note. My mom was hospitalized for 3 days! Saturday afternoon I received a text from Alex firing me because I wasn't what the company wanted. Thankfully this wasn't a job I depended on BUT it was the most unhumaine action one has ever taken towards someone that had no control over what life throws at you! So basically if you work for this company and so happen to have an emergency that requires you to miss days you're screwed. Which is ironic because I heard his mother is very sick and I hope nothing like what he did me happens to him. As for the GM of this hotel I have no idea who she is she didn't make it her mission to have all of her employees (housekeepers) that make this hotel what it is get to know who she was. I guess her main concern and the employees that truly mattered are her front desk staff (which were all very nice to me for the time i was there) so for future employess I wrote this so yall can have an idea of what your getting yourselves in to. I hope the GM works on being more aware of what happens with ALL of her employees and be a little less careless! Supervisor Rohan is definitely underestimated and I wish him nothing but success. Thank you sir it was a pleasure working with you!

Our stay at Homewood Suites in Ocala, Florida was excellent. The place was clean and the accommodation was superb. Very good service. If and when we return to the area I would stay there again.

There are several reasons I'm giving this hotel 5-star. I've stayed at this hotel for 4 momths (extended stay) and we have found our way back after having to stay at a few other nearby hotels and being very disappointed. They are not the cheapest, but it is well worth it. The staff has always been professional and friendly to myself and my family. The rooms are very clean and we enjoy being able to stay somewhere that we can make our own meals. They have everything you need to cook and enjoy your own meals. Breakfast is included in the stay. The Wednesday dinner is also included and it is quite the compliment to the stay. I don't drink, but you can enjoy a glass of wine or beer with your meal! The environment is safe and comfortable. Our kids love the pool area (access to grill) and basketball court. All in all, I totally recommend this hotel!

I've stayed at this hotel several times when visiting my father or having to help with health issues. Cassandra, Adrian and Penny in the breakfast area make me feel like family. Love being there and having them greet me each time.
