Super fun, great for families. They clean your catch for you and vacuum seal it and provide ice for the return trip home.

Persimmon Creek is about the best stop we made on our son's first camping trip, and we cannot say enough good things about Tony and this amazing spot! The time and care that they took making sure our six year old caught his first trout and had a blast doing it - these people are just plain awesome. Easy parking, clean restroom, plenty of advice, great tackle, plenty of space for families to spread out, and fast friendly likeable service. Of all the places we could have gone, we were blessed to choose this one. You know you found a great place when you drive away smiling and planning your return visit, even before you've left the driveway. Go to Persimmon Creek and enjoy!!! It's a treasure, and we can't wait to come back again. ~Ember, Fernando and Justin (who caught six all by himself! :)

Camp ground was recommended by a friend we had a really good experience here they have a limited number of full service hook up but the layout and scenery are wonderful. If you want to have some relaxing time away from the hustle and bustle this should be your destination. Tony and be Karen are great hosts

Small, safe, personal, nature-y campground. We stayed on a site right by the creek with good shade. The couple running it were very kind and helpful! Location is great-close to white water rafting, and 15 min from groceries. Bathrooms are....spidery camp-like bathrooms. Showers separate. Bring shoes. This was just what we hoped for, and had a great stay! Price was great also!

Questions & Answers

Is it okay to visit without staying overnight? We would pay any parking/visiting fees and follow all rules. Seems like a very cute and fun place to visit, but I don’t want to intrude. By the way, mushrooms are a really cool touch to the area
