This review is long over due. I was up in Bryson for the Deals Gap Rotary Rally. Initially I had a hotel elsewhere and ended up over here. Holly was exceptional in helping me get a room and making sure I had everything I needed. Thanks Holly!!!!

We stayed here last minute coming from my husband's God father's house. The guy working the front desk made us leave and go get exact change for the price of the room because we were paying in cash. The room was very nice and clean. When leaving the next morning, my husband told the lady at the desk bye and to have a great day. She just turned around and continued talking on her cell phone. The rooms are nice, can work on customer service a little bit.

First impression walking through the door it was pretty dark and gloomy. The guy at the counter was immediately off putting. I had been told on the phone $74/night + $35 dog fee. Long story short he called the manager, they cancelled that reservation and I booked online, I booked the cheaper one and whatever it was fine. You could tell the manager was much more competent then this guy. We then got into the room and it wasn’t horrible but there was a lot of hair in the bed, light stains on the towels, and the trim by the shower was all rotting and I’m sure moldy inside because they didn’t have a long enough shower curtain on it since for some reason (probably the room I booked online) we ended up getting an accessible room. My main concern was the guy manning the desk. I got the weirdest vibes from him. I didn’t feel very safe and another family in the parking lot was also talking about their weird experiance. Anyways, I get that finding good people is hard but at least find someone who can speak up, and communicate in an efficient fashion. Breakfast the next morning had 3 options. No fruit, no cereal, just the 3 options below were placed out and we went out at 8am. I wouldn’t recommend anyone to stay here. Sure, the price was decent at $84 with tax per night plus the $35 dog fee but I’d much rather pay double and stay somewhere with inviting customer service, no hair in my bed, clean looking towels and a good breakfast. Hard pass.

No my work paid for a late check out because we were up there doing swift water rescue training.
