CAN’T EVEN GET Y’ALL TO ANSWER THE PHONE. I’ve tried calling multiple times throughout the day for several days now and I haven’t been answered once!!! All I’m trying to do is schedule a eye doctor appointment but clearly that’s not happening. DO BETTER AND FIRE WHOEVER IS SUPOSE TO BE ANSWERING THE PHONE!!!! Absolutely ridiculous.

I understand that now in the Time of COVID that some things have changed. So be it. I visited this particular Vision Center at Walmart on Silber, three separate times in 8 days. The first day the man on the floor greeted me and we spoke to each other casually and in good humor. I did notice that while he helped me there were people who were acknowledged and then ignored for quite some time and left outside the barriers which separate the eye shop from the rest of Walmart. The second visit I made to the eye center was after my eye exam and I picked out a pair of glasses and paid for them. Same man. Less humor. Didn’t seem to know how to complete the sale. Sat for 10 minutes while this task was performed. Of course, there were other customers outside the barriers being ignored. As I left this second visit I was assured that we would be sure the new glasses would be fitted and adjusted properly. The third visit was to pick up the glasses. Very quick turn around, which should be recognized as good service. Same salesman, this time I was the one acknowledged and left ignored outside the barriers. So, after standing for ten minutes I headed to the lawn department where I found a plastic lawn chair and took it with me back to the eye shop, where I then sat comfortably outside the barriers for 20 minutes while the same man helped another do whatever it was they did. When the salesman was finished he greeted me and pretended not to know why I was there. I am not so vain as to think I am so remarkable that no one could possibly forget me. I had damaged my only pair of glasses in such a fashion that the salesman and I talked it over, and had a good laugh at my expense, on both previous visits. So I am still wearing my embarrassingly damaged glasses. Whatever, this was to be expected and I produced my receipt and we were finally able to proceed. He handed me my new glasses and no fitting, nothing. I left the lawn chair for the next customer to be ignored in comfort. To be clear: the doctor at this location and his staff are very professional and hospitable. The Walmart people...well, they work at Walmart.... and now I question why I am even bothering with this note. I would just say if you must ignore your customers...offer them a chair....there is no harm.

There was a problem with the delivery of my contacts to my home. Even though through no fault of their own, the center took responsibility of the delay, and immediately replaced my missing contacts. I wanted to acknowledge the prompt responsiveness of the Walmart Vision Center associates for remedying the problem, and to specifically thank Clyde for his personal attention! This is another example of why I’m loyal to this location! Thank you!

I'm only giving 2 stars because I've never had issues with my actual glasses themselves or with them arriving late, but I also usually never had an issue with the eye doctor appointments but the last time I made an appointment there I arrived and they told me the doctor left early for the day. Okay they could've called me and told me ..!!! Then I just rescheduled while I was there and when I arrived for my rescheduled appointment the same thing happened!! The doctor left early for the day and the receptionist didn't even bother to call appointments for that day to cancel tell them the doctor left early again! Waste of time and such a headache !
