I can't speak highly enough of this place! A hidden gem given the ambiance, staff that goes above & beyond & the manager, Jonah, made sure the experience was above & beyond. Great location with a beautiful brewery next door was an added bonus. If you're looking for a romantic getaway, time with friends or have kids there is plenty of room in the courtyard for them to do cartwheels. But shhhh don't tell anyone it's a secret <3

This place is gorgeous! Very "rusticly" beautiful with adorable bungalows and fantastic scenery ππ»ππ»ππ» the rooms were wonderful - my parents and I had a suite, which gave me my own room & bathroom on the bottom floor next to a small living area & kitchenette and then upstairs with the whole to floor, which included a bedroom, bathroom & private terrace... The beds were (from what I was told) California King, which, if you've never experienced, are HUUUGE! We were staying here for the weekend of my brother's wedding... My cousins were next door in their own suite and my aunt had a single room across the courtyard...I can't say enough about the beauty of this place, so I'll let some pictures do the talking for me πΊ if you find yourself in the Cashiers, NC area looking for a nice place to relax, I highly recommend the Wells Cashiers Hotel! ππ»ππ»ππ»

My mom and I use to stay there yearly for the past 14 years. The previous owner sold it a year and a half ago. The new owners raised prices, remodel (it's no longer the cute crozy place it use to be), stopped cleaning daily, and it's harder to find staff if there is a problem. Sadly, after 14 years, this summer we will be finding a new place to stay.

Itβs a beautiful place and I want to give it more stars but I can not. It seems like room hasnβt been sold in a while, there was lots of dust everywhere. I always bring Lysol, disinfectant wipes, my own towels, and blanket with me every-time I stay at a hotel. There was dirt in the corners of the flooring. The heating unit was filthy. There was dried urine on the toilet seat. And hair on sheets and pillows as well as in the shower. For two nights almost 400.00 total, my expectations are rather high.
