Very nice place to shop, great sales, great selection, great prices, good quality merchandise, great customer service, wider isles makes shopping easier, clean facility. Handicap parking, but no public restrooms.

Their prices compared to lots of other thrift stores are ridiculous! Not sure how or who does their pricing but it’s laughable even with a 50% off coupon. They often ask $29.99 for anything “name brand” even if it’s stained. No stains just very used? $49.99 lol. Unfortunately this is not an exaggeration.

If you go in on a Monday or Thursday everything is half off and they will give you a coupon for half off that you can use as long as it is not expired. Your coupon might expire in a few days or a few weeks who knows--they date stamp them every two weeks and the dates on them are random. On a Tuesday, Wednesday, Friday or Saturday you can get a coupon for 75% off on Sunday. It all sounds great, but they just make it too hard for me to take them seriously. I shop at all the Thrift Centers from Bakersfield to Merced and this shop is definitely the weakest link. Due to my business, I spend a lot buying for my online store and I would probably spend upwards of $400 there a month. Drawn out over the five years that I have lived in the Central Valley that would add up to nearly $20K that I would have spent at this store that I ended up spending elsewhere because it is just too complicated and difficult since I live forty miles away and I can't drop everything to come and grovel for a coupon. As someone who runs my own small business, I give out coupons because I want people to buy my stuff. I do not make them jump through hoops in order to cash in on a deal because I think that defeats the purpose. In the five years that I have occasionally shopped at this store, I have encountered exactly one friendly person. Everyone else is not friendly at all and that is never a plus.
