Amazing bible focused church with high quality teachings. I have been so happy to find a church that sticks to what the bible teaches in the face of so much adversity. There are many evil forces at work today that are trying to crush the word of the Lord and subsititute it with the will of the people. In a city that supports "tolerance" and "freedom" there are too many people who are quick to criticize this church for being too conservative and not caving in immoral demands. Any negative reviews are from people who basically disagree with what the Bible teaches; its undeserved hatred by closed minded people. It it tough to stick to the conservative teachings of the Bible in a very liberal city. I pray that God continues to bless this church and its leadership. Thank you for the wonderful work you do in this city.

While visiting the area recently, my daughter and I attended part of a Sunday morning service at Tenth. I was looking forward to a warm environment where we could rest, contemplate, and be in community. Sadly, what we found was a darkly conservative tone and message from the pulpit. Visitors should be aware that this church promotes a thinly veiled "conservative" political agenda. One prayer early in the service included couched critical references to the Afghanistan withdrawal, praying "against our enemies," and deriding vaccine mandates. Few congregants were wearing masks, which were not even encouraged. (I noticed this early on and should've left then. Red flag.) We did not stay for the sermon. Those who are not strictly entrenched in conservative, white, male, ego-centric theology should find another place of worship to visit while in Philadelphia.
