I am 18 years old and I had to use the public defenders office because I couldn't afford a real lawyer. Don't bother paying the 60 dollars to get a wanna be lawyer. Using the public defenders office is nothing but a waste of your time and money. The public defenders office didn't notify who I was assigned to or let me know that the court date was still on and I ended up missing the court date because nobody was able to give me a call back and don't even let me get started with the front desk person. I would try to call every other day or as much as I could and the person would transfer me and the phone would just ring and say that the voice mail was full and you couldn't leave a message or the call would just drop. Even after the original court date it was super hard to get a hold of the attorney I was assigned to, I could call 20 times and the guy would never answer and was so unprofessional and tried taking my mom out on a date. The attorney ended up leaving the public defenders office and pulled out from my case and since I missed my original court date i have a bill for 751 dollars, but that is not it since I missed the court date a bench warrant was set out for me and the next time we appeared in court I was taken into jail and before this i had a clean criminal record and my cases were for driving without a license and my mother had to pay 600 dollars to bail me out so I wouldn't be in jail for 2 months until the next appearance. My advice is to invest our money on a real lawyer.

Jamie McClenden is the worst attorney I've ever dealt with. She is a complete liar. She never takes or returns calls. Is down right rude to her clients and their loved ones.

So far they seem to understand to go to trial when there is no guilt and trial 3 different ways. I will update as i am updated. Seems a good outlook. Praise Jehovah! We must stand up for ourselves with love. The golden rule. Time will tell. Im not giving up! My children are worth it!

You would be better off having a 3rd grader defend you in court.
