There is literally no point to having an on call doctor over the weekend if you cannot talk to him. Something as simple as 'you forgot to send the refill' turns into them playing gate keeper.

Dr is great. Service from staff is mixed.

Not a place I’d recommend. My husband was to get an epidural shot for his back. He was never told he couldn’t have Advil for five days prior to the procedure. He was never told that he would be put under. None of this was told to him until we walked into the office for the appointment. They seem very unorganized and lack communication. He went back for the procedure where the nurse explained what the procedure was for and it ended up being not what he needed. The procedure was canceled because of it. They seem completely incompetent.

I’m at my first appointment. Was told to be here at 12:45 to fill out, what I was told, lengthy paperwork. 😂 they didn’t open until 1! My first impression is not good. I hope it goes better. If so I will write another review. Ok so the first appointment went well. Very informative!

I see Dr. Poonan and there is Dr. Kuang. I highly recommend Dr. Poonan
Why do you keep going there if there is that much of a problem? I don't think they are forcing you or your wife to keep going there.

And just as unfortunately, despite the fact that these Drs are well aware that some patients will commit suicide because of having been undermedicated (NOT over medicated) for a considerable period of time. Margo McCaffery, one of the foremost nursing specialists in chronic pain and it's treatment, simply said, " The next dose should be given before the last dose wears off". This is non-existent with regard to myself and thousands of legitimate intractable pain patients all over the country. The first dose and subsequent doses don't work because pain medication is no longer titrated to address tolerance ( which does occur). To tell a patient that they must suffer because an MD is covering his gluteus by underadministering pain medications to those for whom there is no other viable option is inexcusable. Research studies should be done on patients who have no other alternatives who had taken these medications successfully and safely for many years until the bureaucrats
