A small private museum with Asian artifacts. Watch out for openings on the street.

Extraordinary museum, exhibits change, when I was there in Sept 2022 they included a collection of Vishnu statues, raw minerals from Chinese mines, and swords/knives/jewelry from Mughal era India. Fantastic Photos Copyright Scott McKinney 2022

Neat museum. Not exactly the size I expected, so be warned! There are great Indian and Chinese exhibits. Definitely plan to have another museum reserved to attend or walk around Klyde Warren park afterwards.

It's hard to complain when it's free! Nice building. It's 3 floors. Still a bit limited (Covid?) as of 8/2022. Only 1 entrance exotic and no access to the beautiful park area attached. It's small, but free. The best part was the mineral collection. The worst-some strange, cartoonist puppet display. Bright and large, I was not interested. It seemed a promotion of Trans community and lifestyle. Not a problem, but not museum quality in my opinion.

Yes, you can be dropped off right across from the DMA.
I imagine it would depend on style of dance? Contact the museum during business hours Tues-Sat for more info.
No. Walk in are welcome!

I paid $10 for valet. It was easier than circling for an hour trying to find on the street parking. Was able to go the Nasher and the Crow Museum and even walk down to Klyde Warren.
There is no charge for admission.
I'm not sure if the collection is still there or not, you'll have to call

about $10.
I came with a group, we went specifically to the Asian art museum because it was free. Are you confusing the Asian art museum with the sculpture center?
