Great mortgage experience. DCU did it again. I researched 3 lenders and chose DCU for our mortgage. Their rates were the best, costs the lowest, and online portal intuitive and easy to use. Matt F and Nichoel professional and responsive. As happens in most hole buying experiences, there were delays and unexpected blips, but DCU cruised right through with us. Do your homework, DCU gets an A in my grade book.

Closed way too often and the website/app needs a serious overhaul. I am logged out way to often, and it says that it cannot validate my information though I put in the correct credentials.

Why 2 days to set up 2 accounts? Was told to use teller. Why not an office for privacy. Was told to call back and make an appointment for an office! Never heard of this. Went to Chase used their office for privacy. Was even offered a Coke or water!!

Yes. Even if you belong to another credit union (part of co-op), you can make a check or cash deposit outside business hours and will be processed to your CU. I have found this feature handy since my CU branches are in Rockford and Chicago.
