You get NO Room service, unless you request it 24 hours in advance at the front desk. Although we requested every night of our 7 night stay, they missed cleaning our room. So, I was told they have a limited staff, as if that is my problem. They gave no credit. The manager did bring us towels. I had to get a trash bag from the front desk to empty out trash cans myself. This happened a year ago NEVER AGAIN

We were in town for a wedding and we’re looking forward to staying here since it had good reviews. Unfortunately our experience was not great. We were checked in 45 minutes late due to room not being ready. I was told the room I had takes 2 people to clean and they were short staffed. We were given some complimentary breakfast after my wife requested it for the hassle of trying to keep our toddlers busy for the extra time after a long flight and drive. When we entered the room we immediately noticed the dirty and stained couch. We were told we couldn’t switch rooms because the hotel was at full capacity. The air conditioning units seemed to be out dated and couldn’t keep our room cool. On our final night the ceiling began to leak on my wife’s head as we laid in bed. We told the front desk about that the next morning and they did take around $60 off our bill. The other rooms that our family stayed in seemed like they were in better condition. The breakfast was good and B Town bar had good food and drinks.

We enjoyed our stay here. The foyer is beautiful with a fireplace, waterfall and a piano in the curve of the grand staircase. Friendly staff, nice rooms and pool, yummy breakfast.

Horrible experience with staff and the rooms are far from the Marriott standard. Mold and mildew smell throughout the room. Office staff refused to transfer rooms upon reasonable request. They refused to transfer me so I requested to check out and they refused a refund. It was not worth the energy to argue with them anymore. I promise you will have a much better experience up the road. Update: I had my colleague stay there recently and somehow we both got on topic of our horrible experience. Do yourself a favor and don’t stay here!

Is there any shopping nearby?

Great coffee options nearby. Feed Meyer Superstore nextdoor, a couple of good restaurants are walking distance and Whole Foods is across the street. Excellent public transportation to downtown shopping district and the Lakeway/For Points has a shuttle! Nothing in Bellingham is very far away!

what's breakfast menu ?

There is a large breakfast menu available at the "Chinuk: Flavors of the Northwest" restaurant located in the lobby. They offer a variety of common breakfast options at a fairly pricy rate. However, coffee, tea, cream, and sugar are offered for free to all hotel patrons. I really appreciated this amenity in the mornings. Some of the bundled packages for rooms and breakfast offer several meals to chose from. As I remmeber them, these meals included a poached egg breakfast (two eggs w/ toast and fruit,) a hasbrowns, egg, and bacon breakfast, a breakfast with a choice of waffles or pancakes, and one other option that I can't remember much about. The food is good, but very heavy and greasy. The waitstaff is VERY friendly! The menu is also somewhat accommodating for gluten free and vegetarian diets. It's good, but a lot too pricy to warrant eating there without buying the meal/room bundle. It's a more budget-friendly choice to grab breakfast supplies from the Fred-Myer.
