This nursing home is horrible. They don’t give showers on a regular basis. I had to threaten them that I would report them if my mother in law didn’t get her showers. She was always still hungry after dinner and got scrambled eggs every day for breakfast. I tried to get the nutritionist to call me back for 5 days and I’m still waiting. All this wasn’t even the worst of it. My husband and I just happened to be on speaker phone with my mother in law and the RN came in and said to her, what do you want? Nobody here likes you. My mother in law said they don’t like me? The RN said yes, you are annoying! I absolutely reported her and of course she lied and said she didn’t say that to my mother in law! We are actually picking her up now to bring her home. Do not put your family here! They don’t care, it’s just a paycheck to them. There are a few that are amazing and do care, but not enough.

Very unorganized and facility is clearly understaffed. If you are going to put your family member in here you need to check on them DAILY. The rooms are disgusting housekeeping is just an idea not an action here.The photo attached is a bed with dirty tissues and DEAD SKIN and dirty napkins after my resident was just moved in there 30 minutes ago and refused to lay in the bed so he didn’t make that mess. When brought to the attention of the nurses they were just as frustrated as us. And don’t even try calling the facility they don’t have answers to simple questions EVER.The receptionists are clueless it’s talking to a wall. They take advantage of the fact that they are the only nursing home in Bolingbrook. But if you can, please avoid putting your family members in here.

There are a few nurses and CNAs at Meadowbrook who deserve a standing ovation for going above and beyond the call of duty. Viola, Adam, and Courtney are nurses who really stand out who have gone out of their way in the care of my husband. Loretta, Martha, Alexis, April and Alexa are CNAs who tirelessly work several shifts at a time and have always gone out of their way to cheerfully assist my husband in any way possible to help him to be comfortable. Thank you all for your untiring and dedicated service to those in need! God bless you!

This is truly an amazing place. The administrator, DON, ADONs and nurses really care. They also have an awesome group of CNAs that work hard everyday to take care of the patients. I’ve been working here for a few months and everyone is consistent with who they are and the care they provide. I absolutely love working in this field but this place makes it even further enjoyable. They are constantly doing things to make things better for patients here. They work hard to hire people and bring people on who care. There is no perfect nursing facility but if I were to be somewhere I would want to be somewhere that management genuinely cares. It makes a huge difference. I’ve been in this field for 14 years.
