This hotel far exceeded our expectations. Very clean and modern. Breakfast not included but lots to choose from as European buffet style and made to order egg sandwiches. Pool area large with plenty of seating and loungers. An added plus is within walking distance to many good restaurants. Will definitely stay here again

Location location … everything you need is here … great restaurants, mall, airport. Aaron the hotel director is absolutely amazing… so very professional and his entire staff is incredible .. from the front desk to the housekeeping to the kitchen…the food was above our expectations… the pool and gym was great and they have guest washer/dryers which was so important staying here for 10 days. Never once we had to ask for a thing . 1st class hotel .. I wouldn’t stay anywhere else but here at The AC Marriott when I visit Tampa ❤️

Big service issue. As I had an early morning flight, having to leave the hotel at 4:30 am, I first phoned the hotel to confirm they had a shuttle service. “Yes, 24 hours.” When I checked in, “Hi, do I have to give you the time now that I need to take the shuttle.” “Oh, tomorrow there will be no shuttle until after 5:00.” “But you told me you offered 24 hr shuttle service.” “If need be we will provide an Uber for you. What time do you need it?” “4:30.” Young lady at desk said she’s working overnight and will see me in the morning. Come down before 4:30 - no one in the lobby. No one in offices. Call hotel, no answer. Go behind desk, dial “0”, no answer. Incredible, from a large company like Marriott.

We have stayed at many AC hotels because they are nicely designed, new and clean. They all have a proper bar. We especially like the rooftop bars at many locations. The Tampa airport AC is in a new shopping area, it’s well lit at night with easy parking. This AC has an extra perk, in Christopher the bartender. Our flight got in late the night we stayed at the AC, and we were on Pacific time, wanting a cocktail to wind down… the bar was closing at 11:00 pm, so we thought we’d miss our chance. However, there were still customers at the bar when we checked in, because Christopher had stayed way beyond his shift to accommodate his patrons. He was extremely gracious in light of his staying late, and made really good margaritas. We’d stay here again, especially to see Christopher. Super nice person.
