Do not waste money at this school. Was investigated in 2008 they payed company to hire me for 2 weeks and say I would not make It king hvac. Sad jus to say I get a job. Education is a business in usa

I went to this school when they had it in Blue Island it was oro le then and all I hear is it’s horrible now . Some instructors should not be there I would waste my money or my time

Let me start off by saying if there is any prospective student interested in Welding please do not even think of this school as an option. When it comes to actually learning how to weld, it is a great school. My instructors were great people. I learned a lot about welding that supplemented the hands on experience I gained in the field. However, the office staff and HVAC teachers are unbearable. I attended the welding program from 2018-2019. I was in an altercation with a HVAC instructor in the parking lot that pulled up beside me on a motorcycle. He began to threaten me and refused to believe I was a student at that school. Had I not remained calm, the situation would have ended very bad for him. He may have been tall and cocky. But he had a huge gut and a horrible attitude. Then, I tried to ask for a transcript multiple times through the website. Little did I know there was fine print that said you had to proceed with calling the school and paying for it. No one ever called, emailed or told me. After waiting weeks I called ETI and was transferred to Maureen, who sounded like she hated her job and life. She basically called me stupid and said everyone forgets to pay or doesnt know how to read. Horrible example of an employee. I gave her my credit card number and she said “ok” and hung up. I would never recommend this school to anyone! This school is not regionally accredited and your time here will not transfer to a community college or traditional institution. Had it not been for my awesome instructors I would completely regret my time there.

This school definitely teaches you how to weld very well but the office is a joke as well as the HVAC teachers. They lie to students about having an AWS certification. They won’t allow students to meet with each other to discuss changes. Specifically a teacher in HVAC who says quote “not in my class”. Who do you think you are. Students are trying to meet to discuss change to benefit our learning environment and is that not what this is all about. I don’t feel comfortable at this school anymore, if I was not almost done with the school I would take my business elsewhere.
